Meet The Residents

OgDog is a thirteen-year-old
red/white spaniel that rules his pack with a firm paw. He is a merry
boy who enjoys beach walks particularly when the chuck-it ball is
being thrown. His hearing is not what it used to be but he manages
to hear the food preparation just fine. He loves having friends over
and thoroughly enjoys the added activities of other canines in camp.

Luce Goosey is a very feminine lady
with all the girlie tricks that males love. She is a beautiful
eight-year old parti-colored blonde girl. She adores other canines
and practices flirting and turning on her charm to all. However, her
heart belongs to OgDog.

Woody Boy is a sweet seven year old
boy who loves to be babied. He cannot sleep well unless he is
cuddled at the foot of the bed underneath the down comforter, no
matter how hot it is outside! He is also a red/white parti-colored
guy who loves to compete at fetch and welcomes all canines that want
to race. |

A Basset Hound Named Zippy Zippety
Do Dog loves all humans, animals and kids. Zippy is a beautiful
tricolor hound approximately 3 years old and adores having younger
dogs around to harass. Her favorite thing is to chase them on the
beach, if she can get them to run. With her short legs, it is
necessary that she be the one pursuing and not the other way around.
She is the social butterfly of the pack and has never known a
stranger. Her attitude is the more dogs around the better.

Owner/Operator Karen Roush is a photographer with a passion for canines. She has operated a doggie B&B in Homer for many years, just recently expanding with Adventure Camp. Karen has published fine art calendars featuring dogs from all over the US. She wrote a dog advice column for five years and donates a percentage of the proceeds to homeless dogs. Recently she spent time as an animal rescue volunteer in New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina. |
